Students will learn Pro Tools in the first 2 weeks of the program before being placed at the studio. During the first 3 weeks of their stay with the studio partner, students will master signal flow before they will be able to choose from one of the following focuses for the remainder of their 8-week tenure:

Studio Recording
Mixing
Mastering
Music Production (Can include music composition/beat making/working with an artist)

In addition, students will have one year of access to AAMP Academy’s Online Training Videos that teach Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Beat Making and Composition, Music Theory, Recording, Home Studio Setup, and so much more.

Monthly live group coaching calls, monthly listening sessions, monthly group lessons and a private phone number for unlimited call and text support are also included so that you will have a sense of community and support.

This program is for the serious music producer who is ready to focus their energy on their craft and get the most results in the shortest amount of time possible.

PIT stands for, “Producer In Training.” It is AAMP Academy’s flagship program that is designed to drastically change or correct the course of an aspiring music producer, engineer, beat maker, or composer.

This 14 week program is completely hands on without all the fluff most students will get at a traditional college program. Students in the PIT program will engage in in-studio learning within 30 days of signing up for the program. They will be placed with one of our many studio partners located in or near the student’s city of residence.

Most colleges don’t even let students touch the “expensive gear” until their 5th or 6th semester…by that time the student is already in tens in thousands of dollars in debt, putting you at a disadvantage.

But we at AAMP Academy have a much different philosophy. Spear headed by a former instructor at one of “those” colleges, this program is an industry disruptor giving students the chance to learn the industry skills they need to succeed in a short amount of time and without spending near what they would spend at a normal college.

About the PIT Program

14- week, hands on program in a studio with a professional for aspiring music producers, engineers, or beat makers who want to make money with their skills sooner than later. Two weeks of pre-training, 8 weeks of in-studio training, and 4 weekly sessions of 1 on 1 mentorship.

Within 45 days of enrollment, you will be placed at a studio in or near your city. The first 3 weeks will be spent mastering signal flow and the last 5 weeks will be spent on an industry focus of your choice.

Before you head to the studio, we’re going to train in you in Pro Tools for two weeks and make sure that when you get in the studio, you won’t be lost.

That’s right. We’ll pay for your Pro Tools Subscription for one year at no extra cost to you.

After your tenure with our studio partner, we’ll continue guiding you for 4 more weeks with 4 private mentoring sessions. We’ll solidify what you’ve learned and then advise you on a path to making money with your skills.

The learning continues before and after your in-studio sessions. You’ll have access to all of our pre-made video lessons in Pro Tools, Logic Pro, FL Studio Ableton Live, Music Theory, and so much more for 1 year!

As part of the AAMP Academy family, you’ll be invited to our monthly listening parties and beat-critiques on zoom! Play your beats for the community and get a critique from the instructor hosting the call!

This coaching call with our head mentor will give you insight to new techniques, software, and plug-ins! It’s a 2 hour call, so get ready to learn new information that you can use immediately to level up!

You will be offered a chance to collaborate with a professional associated with our school. This could be a recording, mixing, or production session, but most importantly it will be a professional level collaboration with someone in the industry. More than likely it will be with the studio partner you studied with previously.

This is not just a piece of paper. It will document your skills and which industry professional you learned them from. It shows that you’ve invested in yourself and that you’ve mastered the skills to become a worthy pro in this industry.
