About the Founding Instructor
Jon Pierre is an award-winning composer, music producer, film composer, audio engineer, and educator. For the past 20 years he has worked in the industry as an in-demand producer and composer creating music for the top brands of the world including McDonalds, GMC, and Warner Bros. He has licensed his music in thousands of tv and film trailer campaigns as well as tv shows, films, and video games.
As a tenured college music production professor for the past 10 years, Jon Pierre has been able to gain unique and revealing insights on the learning process of his music production students, many of which have gone on to sustainable careers in the music business. He prides himself on being able to effectively distill even the most complex audio engineering and music production concepts down to it's most basic forms so that the students he teaches may not only understand them but also apply those concepts successfully.
He created AAMP Academy Online out of the need to open up opportunities for passionate students to learn concepts and techniques of music production and audio engineering at an affordable and fair price.
